Editorial policy, ownership and disclosures
SeniorLiving.wiki is owned and published by Local Blitz, a digital marketing agency. This page explains who is responsible for the content, how it is sourced, which business relationships could create a conflict of interest, and how those relationships are disclosed.
Ownership and publisher
Publisher: Local Blitz (localblitz.com), a digital marketing agency serving San Diego and Indianapolis, co-founded by Simon White.[1] Local Blitz is responsible for all content on SeniorLiving.wiki. The site carries no advertising and no affiliate or tracking code.
Business relationships and conflicts of interest
Local Blitz provides marketing services to businesses, including senior living providers. Current relationships relevant to this site:
- Lantern Crest (Santee, California) is a client of Local Blitz. Lantern Crest appears only on the Senior living in San Diego page, next to a disclosure, and only with facts verified from its official website and California Department of Social Services license record.
Any community with a business relationship to the publisher will be labeled with a disclosure wherever it is featured, and will be described only with verifiable facts.
Editorial standards
- No invented facts. Every statistic, price, rate and legal requirement is cited inline to an identifiable source, with the data year where one applies.
- Source hierarchy. Government agencies and statutes (NIA, CMS/Medicare.gov, CDC, ACL, VA, California DSS, DHCS, CDPH, California Department of Aging, California Health and Safety Code) come first, followed by established surveys and trade data (CareScout Cost of Care Survey, AARP, NCAL/AHCA).
- No rankings or “best of” claims. The site does not rank, rate or review communities and does not publish testimonials.
- Neutral language. Pages use an encyclopedic, answer-first style and avoid promotional wording.
- Community facts. Facts about a specific community are limited to its official website and public regulator records, and readers are directed to the regulator’s own reports.
- Review dates. Each page shows when it was last reviewed. Figures are updated when sources publish new data, such as annual Medicare, VA and Medi-Cal amounts.
- Tools. Drafting and research may be assisted by software, including AI tools. Every figure is checked against its cited source before publication.
Corrections
If you find an error or an outdated figure, please tell us through the contact page. Confirmed errors are corrected, and the page’s review date is updated.
