About SeniorLiving.wiki

From SeniorLiving.wiki, the senior living reference · Last reviewed · Published by Local Blitz · How we source

SeniorLiving.wiki is a free, encyclopedia-style reference on senior living options, costs and care decisions, published by Local Blitz. It summarizes information from government agencies, state regulators and published surveys, and cites every figure to its source with the data year.

What the site covers

How pages are written

Each page opens with a two-to-three sentence answer, followed by definitions, comparison tables, a short FAQ and a numbered source list. Statistics come only from identifiable sources such as the National Institute on Aging, Medicare.gov, the California Department of Social Services, the CDC and the CareScout Cost of Care Survey. See Sources and methodology.

Who publishes it

The site is published and operated by Local Blitz, a digital marketing agency serving San Diego and Indianapolis since 2009, co-founded by Simon White.[1] Local Blitz works with businesses that include senior living providers; those relationships are disclosed under the editorial policy.

What the site is not

SeniorLiving.wiki is not a placement or referral service, does not rank or review communities, and does not provide medical, legal or financial advice. For personal guidance, contact the Eldercare Locator (1-800-677-1116), a health care provider, or a qualified professional.[2]
